VACATION RENTAL SERVICE


We'll brighten your day 
Vacation home owners understand that cleanliness is one of the most important factors that impact their guest's experience. Here is the specific checklist of cleaning tasks we perform on vacation rentals including inspection of some common maintenance items.  We also offer an affordable resupply service for vacation rental consumables. ​
ALL INTERIOR AREAS
  • Report if the smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are beeping
  • Replace burnt out light bulbs if stocked and accessible
  • Report maintenance issues
  • Report pest infestations
  • Notify owner of items in low supply
  • Check for personal belongings left in rooms (report if possibly left by guests)
  • Check locks and close entry doors (report if battery warning is on)
  • Dust A/C vents, grills and portable fans
  • Check and clean all interior windows and close/lock all windows
  • Check for pest control service needs
  • Check for stains on carpets, rugs, furniture or curtains
  • Discard magazines that are older than six months
  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as handles, doorknobs, lights witches and counters
  • Wipe down windows and windowsills
  • Discard paper plates, plastic cups, plastic cutlery and paper/plastic bags
  • Set thermostats to the agreed upon temperature for and empty house or upcoming arrival
  • Walk through and check home is clean and staged attractively
  • Take photos of each room and patio/deck once service is completed
 
KITCHEN
  • Load, run and empty dishwasher; clean dirty dishes
  • Discard any leftover food. Donate if seal is unbroken
  • Remove trash and recyclables; clean and sanitize trash can and replace trash bags
  • Clean and disinfect counters, cabinets, tables and chairs
  • Clean stove top and wipe inside of oven
  • Clean, scrub and sanitize sinks and backsplashes
  • Clean and disinfect appliances including inside of toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker and phone
  • Empty and clean inside and outside of refrigerator and freezer
  • Hepa vacuum and mop floor
  • Refill soap dispenser
  • Replenish paper towels
  • Put out clean dish towels, linen napkins and a new sponge
  • Ensure all dishes, utensils, pots and pans are clean and arranged visually appealing
  • Clean and disinfect flatware, tableware, glasses and mugs
 
BATHROOMS
  • Clean, scrub, disinfect shower, bathtub, vanity, sink and backsplashes
  • Clean mirrors
  • Clean and disinfect toilets inside and outside
  • Hepa vacuum and mop floor
  • Remove trash. Clean and disinfect trash bin
  • Clean tile walls
  • Ensure shower curtains or doors are free of mold and water spots
  • Clean and place hair dryer neatly under sink or in drawer
  • Replenish soap, bathroom liquids and amenities
  • Replenish toilet paper (two extra rolls under sink)
  • Set neatly folded clean towels and shower mat
  • Check for wear and tear and stains on towels
  • Ensure tissue box is sufficiently full
 
LIVING ROOM
  • Clean and disinfect stereos, game systems, TVs and remotes
  • Ensure welcome sheet/book is in a visible place and in good condition
  • Hepa vacuum and mop floors, carpets and rugs as applicable
  • Check under cushions and couches for debris and other items
  • Clean and straighten décor like pillows, blankets, etc.
  • Dust and clean furniture, blinds, picture frames, knickknacks, ceiling fans and lamps
  • Clean sliding glass doors interior and exterior
  • Make sure all board games, movies and books are in good condition and neatly organized
  • Check fireplace has no ashes and firewood is neatly stacked (if applicable)
 
BEDROOMS
  • Change sheets and pillow cases
  • Check for wear and tear and clean/replace mattress pad, pillows, pillows cases, sheets and blankets
  • Hepa vacuum and mop floors, carpets and rugs as applicable. Include under beds
  • Dust and clean furniture, blinds, picture frames, knickknacks, ceiling fans and lamps
  • Wash linens at highest temperature possible and completely dry before storing
  • Check for personal belongings or trash left in drawers, closets, under beds, behind headboards and behind nightstands
  • Ensure clocks are on correct time and outlets are available for phone charging
  • Ensure closets are stocked with appropriate number of hangers, extra clean blankets and pillows in plastic storage bag/bin
  • Ensure floor fans and humidifier are in place (if applicable) Clean and disinfect stereos, game systems, TVs and remotes
 
LAUNDRY AREA
  • Empty washer and dryer. Clean dryer lint screen
  • Wipe down machines including seal areas and leave doors open
  • Hepa vacuum and mop floor
  • Remove trash and clean trash bin and replace trash bag
  • Ensure laundry provisions ae stocked (e.g. detergent, dryer sheets or fabric softner)
  • Ensure iron, ironing board and distilled water are in place
 
GARAGE AND OUTDOOR SPACES
  • Clean trash, debris and messes
  • Sweep or use blower to clean patios, decks and garage floor
  • Ensure all owner items are stored securely
  • Dust and clean entry door
  • Ensure furniture cushions are in good condition and out for upcoming guests
  • Wipe down BBQ grill. Ensure grilling tools are clean and propane supply is adequate
  • Walk around property to ensure all cigarette butts and pet scat have been removed.
 
SUPPLY SERVICE
We offer a supply service to conveniently maintain your stock of quality consumables at your vacation rental property. We will recommend the stocking quantity based upon the size of the home, number of different room types, and frequency of use. These supplies can include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Bathroom - soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, tissue paper
  • Kitchen - paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, sponges, hand soap, coffee filters
  • Laundry area - detergent, dryer sheets and distilled water
  • All areas - trash bags, light bulbs, extra propane cylinder
 
SERVICES WE EXCLUDE
  • Cleaning bio-hazardous elements (blood, feces, etc.)
  • Clean infested properties (bugs, rodents, etc.)
  • Reach/clean heights inaccessible from 2-step ladder
  • Wet cleaning custom light fixtures or chandeliers
  • Clean inside of gas or propane heating appliances
  • Lift or move heavy furniture
  • Move appliances connected to electricity, gas or water
  • Clean exterior windows and screens
  • Flammable or poisonous substance cleaning or disposal
